The Solution
Encourage Iranians to have more children. It seems almost strange, contradictory, and I think most people will disagree. People will argue that the key to urbanization is to decrease birth rates. That to increase Birth rates would send Iran right back to stage 1. And I would agree with them, were Iran not a special case. The way Iran's birth rate is going, pretty soon we will start seeing some of the symptoms described on the previous page. The dependency load will be too large to handle.
But I'm not arguing completely against birth control. Just to use it less, and manage the population. Make the birth rate drop gentle, not sudden. Because right now, Iran's fertility rate (1.89) is not enough to replace it's population (CIA). So, in conclusion, loosening the laws on birth control in Iran would greatly benefit it's population.

The truth is, Iran is a beautiful nation. It is a place of world heritage, being one of the first sites of civilization and village life. The Persian Empires have even been around longer than the Romans! But Iran currently has many problems. Persecution of religious minorities, crime, terrorism, inequality, bad relations with Western countries, not to mention demographic challenges. But there are solutions. And pretty soon, these solutions will become reality. Just wait - or better yet, go out and make some changes!
